Bike Collective Meeting and future events

Hey yall, Here is an update on future events.

We will be having a meeting at Dustins House Tuesday June 29th at 7? The address is 30 spring Park Ave in JP. Come check out the meeting and meet folks involved and see what is going on with the Collective.

We will be having our next Open Shop Night at The Sprout on Thursday July 1st in Somerville. 339 rear Summer St, Somerville, Massachusetts‎. It will be in the back down the driveway.

The Open Shop Night after that will be will be on Tuesday July 6th @ Eliconia (32 mansfield st, Allston, Ma)

Open Shop Night is a night to come and work on your bike with experienced bicycle mechanics and get help and tips on repairing your bicycle for free.

this thursday (6/17) at 7:30 there will be an open shop night in jamaica plain.

it's going to be at a new place (dustin's house) and the address is 30 spring park ave. which is near the stony brook t stop.

we're also finalizing a schedule for the next few weeks of bike fixing and meetings so these posts won't be so crazy last minute.

Update

Hello Everyone, We have been pretty busy lately and have slowly been growing. We were at the Food Not Bombs festival on may 23rd and set up a table with a bunch of tools and bike stands and helped fix a lot of people's bikes. It was a good day and we got to talk to a lot of people and explain about our group. We also made an appearance at the Boston Skillshare and hosted a workshop on Safe City Cycling as well as a basic bike mechanic workshop. It was a great turn out for the mechanic workshop and got to teach a lot of people about bikes and explained different parts on bikes and did a flat fixing workshop.
We just had Open Shop Night at Eliconia in Lower Allston tonight. We got a lot of parts organized including good condition wheels, tires, tubes and other bike parts. The next Open Shop Night will be next Thursday. The Location is TBA.
